ANN ARBOR, MI -- No longer interested in shaving? A new Ann Arbor clinic has you covered.

Milan Laser opened its newest location at 314 S. Maple Road, Suite 3A, in late October. The location is the second in Ann Arbor and brings the chain’s number of Michigan locations up to 15.

Milan Laser has more than 230 locations across the country.

“We are growing rapidly,” said Bettia Williamson, Milan Laser, senior brand strategist.

The clinic chain, which specializes in laser hair removal, is known for offering unlimited packages that let customers to book as many removal appointments as they need to remove their hair.

“We do not sell laser hair removal by the session; we sell by the body area, which means you get as many treatments or session as you need to be hair free,” Williamson said.

It takes most customers between seven and 10 sessions to be hair free, she said.

In addition to aesthetic purposes, laser hair removal can also be helpful to people with a variety of health conditions, such as folliculitis.

Packages bought at one location can be used across all locations.

“We make ourselves accessible to all communities. A lot of times you see larger aesthetic or laser hair removal companies only coming to large cities like Detroit proper or Atlanta or Chicago, Illinois,” Williamson said. “We tend to want to be a little bit more in the community to make it accessible for everyone to receive laser hair removal.”

Milan Laser is currently offering up to 50% off laser hair removal packages to celebrate its grand opening. It is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Find the clinic online, on social media or by phone at 734-531-7636.
